A number of delegations from member states of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), including Djibouti and the Central African Republic, arrived on Friday at Mitiga International Airport to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Executive Secretariat headquarters in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Saturday.
The delegations were received at the VIP lounge by Mr. Najib Al-Rayani, Director of the Arab Affairs Department, and Mr. Abdelnasser Younes, Director of the African Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in addition to a number of staff members of the Executive Secretariat of the Community. It is worth noting that the reopening of the Executive Secretariat headquarters follows comprehensive modernization and development works, transforming it into an advanced logistical and administrative hub that meets the aspirations of member states and contributes to strengthening economic and security integration in the Sahel-Saharan region, in line with the highest international standards
