Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sierra Leone Arrives in Tripoli to Attend the inaugurationof the CEN-SAD Headquarters

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Mr. Timothy Musa Kabba, arrived in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, on Friday evening on an official visit to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Executive Secretariat headquarters of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), scheduled to take place tomorrow, Saturday.

The Minister and his accompanying delegation were received at the VIP lounge by Mr. Fathallah Al-Zeni, Minister of State for African Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with Mr. Abdelnasser Younes, Director of the African Affairs Department.

This ministerial-level participation by member states of the Community reflects their support for the return of Libyan diplomacy to its leading role in its regional environment, in light of the stability and development currently witnessed in Libya under the Government of National Unity.

It is worth noting that the reopening of the Executive Secretariat headquarters follows comprehensive modernization and development works, transforming it into an advanced logistical and administrative hub that meets the aspirations of member states and contributes to strengthening economic and security integration in the Sahel-Saharan region, in line with the highest international standards.
